Our Design Philosophy
Your web site is an investment, just like any other investment you make in your business.
Our mission is to maximize the return on your investment, whatever your budget
Busy business users are looking for information in a hurry. During business hours, Internet traffic often slows
down, even on a broadband connection.
According to Zona Research, the average viewer will "bail out" - -
click off the site onto another - - if a page takes more than 8 seconds to
All pages and graphics are optimized for quick download. Our focus is
content delivery, clearly laid out, attractive, yet easily and quickly navigable and
Give your visitors what they're looking for, and quickly! Cool special
effects and copious graphics are valuable only if they promote your content.
They are an
annoyance and a distraction if they interfere with prompt communication.
Not that we can't give you the latest technical wizardry! View

Keep it simple
Our philosophy in a nutshell: the well-known "KISS" principle - keep it
simple! Useability, accessibility. But, this doesn't mean designing for
the very lowest common denominator.
We design primarily for the majority, but always test for a
reasonable visitor experience for the other 5% - 10% using outdated
browser software, low resolution monitors, less common hardware or slow
We also test in multiple browsers, including older versions. You'd be
amazed how bad some of the state-of-the-art sites look in older browsers!
That's if they will even load at all. And, yes, there
are still many visitors using older versions.
We try to provide a reasonable online experience to those with dial-up modems as well.
Dial-up modems will probably be around for quite a while . .
. as of July 2007, 23% of USA home Internet users are still on dial-up.
Due to logistics and geography, that may be the case for some time.
And that's just the USA. Are you marketing internationally? In other
countries, only 1-25% have high speed access.
Straightforward doesn't have to be boring! To see our design philosophy
